The Dragon Ball Super anime ended with its 131st episode on Sunday. A new GeGeGe no KitarÅ anime will air in its timeslot starting on April 1, and is slated to run for 50+ episodes.
Toei Animation announced last week that is establishing a third department under its Anime Planning and Production Headquarters that will focus mainly on Dragon Ball projects. Shueisha, the publisher of Akira Toriyama's original Dragon Ball manga, similarly established a "Dragon Ball Room" to focus exclusively on the property in June 2016.
