The official Twitter account for Nintendo's Pokémon Quest game revealed on Thursday that the game will launch for iOS and Android devices on June 27.
The Pokemon Company announced the game on May 30, and released the game for the Nintendo Switch on the same day. The game received more than 1 million downloads in the first two days of the game's release.
The game is a free-to-start game that allows players to "face off against wild Pokémon and embark on many exciting expeditions."
The game features Pokémon from the Kanto region, but they are portrayed in a new cube-like appearance. The game is set in a place known as Tumblecube Island, which is filled with hidden treasures and items. Players control a team of up to three Pokémon to explore the island while fighting other Pokémon, collecting treasure, and befriending new Pokémon. Players can customize the characteristics of their Pokémon, and can use Power Stone items to strengthen them.
